When something stops working, we get it to work. If we say we can fix it and we can’t, there will be no charge. Most importantly: we empower our clients without burdening them with complex technical issues they don’t need or want to know about. A lot of our work is showing people how to do things more efficiently (training). We also do all the technical things you expect – setting up wi-fi or ethernet networks in homes and offices, setting up automatic back-ups, configuring email accounts, data recovery, upgrades, and much, much more.
ON-SITE SUPPORT
We can usually schedule an On-Site appointment for same-day Macintosh Support service depending on time of day or location. There is no travel charge for areas of the Cape within a 25 mile radius of our office in South Chatham. We answer our phone from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM so you can reach us when it is convenient for you. Many of our clients choose ongoing phone support between on-site service visits. We can often set up a remote connection to allow us to troubleshoot your computer from our office.
MAINTENANCE
Our maintenance service includes updating your operating system and Apple applications, basic diagnostics and file system repair and optimization to keep your computer running well, and running fast. When we do a tune-up, we also evaluate your computer and let you know if you would benefit from an upgrade, like adding memory if possible, installing a larger hard drive, or adding a peripheral to help you work more efficiently. We also make sure you have a backup system and strategy in place that works and if not we will recommend the best way to accomplish safeguarding your valuable data, information and graphics.
WE DO WINDOWS – SORT OF
All recent Intel Macs can run Windows. When requested, we can set up Windows on your Macintosh computers to give them cross-platform functionality, the ability to switch back and forth and use real Windows programs. While we are knowledgeable in most Windows operating systems and applications, we do not service, maintain or support PCs running Windows or Windows Server except on an individual basis, depending on the issue.
